You have to tell him. Not enough people in this world have feelings for their friends and that is usually the best kind of love. You already know everything about him and vice versa. It will only make you guys a closer couple and more intimate.

If he's a good friend, it won't ruin the friendship if you handle it well. If you are going to tell him, make sure he knows how much you don't want it to ruin things, and that you would chose him as a friend over anything else. It will probably change things for a while - but exactly how it changes will probably be for the best in the long run. Good luck!

this is something personal, you have to decide the right way to tell him because i dont know him like you do. and i have always told my guy friends i've liked them before, and sometimes it works to my advantage, other times they dont feel the same way. if you really want to tell him, be prepared for his answer. you will never know until you try. and it takes a lot of guts to tell a guy how you feel about him so he will understand and i'm sure he has been through the same thing you are. if he does turn you down, act normal. dont act all depressed or weird around him, just be yourself and everything will work out with your friendship. Good Luck!

I wish i had a dime for every time this came up in life...such a classic dilemma. First of all, sometimes even if it's not reciprocated (sp?) it might not ruin the friendship. Though of course it might. I'd try finding out from a third party. Maybe it's immature, but see if you can get a friend to fish it out of him whether he'd be interested or not. It's gotta be subtle though, as if she's just asking out of her own personal curiosity.

Just tell him, hey, this is how I feel...it doesn't have to change a thing, but I really do like you as more than a friend...or some other variation. I had a guy friend tell me last month that he liked me as more then just a friend...I totally love him, so I reciprocated the advance. Don't sweat it! Good Luck

Well if he he doesn't like you back well there is nothing you can do. Just tell him, but don't expect anything, however if he does like you, then at least there was a friendship before you said you liked him cause now you two know eachother and would know what to expect.

You don't. You just need to decide if it is worth the risk. And while you are at it, realize that all of life comes with risk and is without guarantees.
Get comfortable with taking a chance. Sure sometimes you will get hurt, but wouldn't you be hurt if you didn't take a chance as well?

You don't if you want to keep the friendship. Sometimes telling him you like him and asking him if he feels the same backfires. Let the friendship bloom and see where oit takes both of you.

Without coming straight out and telling him suggest doing something together sometime. That way you can decide if it would be a good idea to tell him or not.

Just tell him how you feel or you will end up regretting it if you don't and as time goes on you will ruin any real chance of having an intimate relationship. TELL HIM!
