make Christians "Prove" the existence of God when they ask a question on here but they are always ready to say"I have a right to my opinion"....Belief in a Diety is faith,an intangiable and will never be able to be "proved"...so the belief is an opinion and therefore Christians have the right to the opinion of belief in God......this is known going into any debate so why do the Ath's and Agno's continue to try to make someone "prove" anything?...it doesnt make sense to ask someone to 'prove" something when it is known up front they cant?...

No one should object to a Christian's faith. However often some Christians demand that non-believers to accept faith in something as an unimpeachable proof for it's existence.

No-one is required to respect anyone else's belief, while at the same time everyone should respect everyone else's right to hold that belief. Some Christians can't seem to differentiate between the two.

If a Christian (or anyone else) claims that they believe something to be true, then that's fine and good--there's nothing to debate. If, however, a Christian claims that something they believe is true, then others are completely justified in demanding the evidence for that.

Why is it you choose to generalize and group all people who share one common belief (or lack of belief) together? Nothing "always" happens". I respect everyone's right to their own opinion and I accept that Christians can't prove god's existance any more than I can prove there is no god. While we are speaking in generalities, I once knew a Christian who had awful B.O., so all Christians always have B.O. (see, it's not very fair or flattering when people do that, is it?)

You have to understand that atheists will ask, why believe in something you can't prove? That is exactly the reason why we are atheists, because there is no proof. It's plain and simple. Beliefs should be founded with some sort of physical evidence, and not seeing any means we won't believe.

You guys totally have your right to your own opinion, no one here is to argue that. But when certain people say that we don't actually exist (you know god is real, you just deny him!) and similar statements are made, we tend to retort with "prove he is real".

They can't and we continue to agree to disagree. I don't believe in god, you believe in god, and neither of us can prove or disprove him. Agree?

1) there are quite a few christians who would say that you are wrong, they CAN prove that god exists!

2) everyone certainly is entitled to their opinion. however, again, quite a few christians are interested in turning their opinions into laws, which is entirely unfair to everyone else with a different opinion.

Why believe in something that is imaginary, like your magic sky fairy..?

Seriously, your ignorance must reach dizzying heights on a good day.. Maybe it's time you started to see the world from outside of your religious bubble of ignorance and denial..

I can certainly understand how people who claim that the invisible tooth fairy created the world would not want to have to provide any evidence that the tooth fairy actually exists. You are quite correct.

Atheists and Agnostics don't hurt people with their beliefs. Naive, gullible, vain, self-serving sheep like you do, and what's worse, you're too ignorant to even realize it.
