1) It was at Antioch. It's one of the reasons why many churches today have the name Antioch in the name of the church. It's found in Acts 11.

2) Jonah spent his time praying in the belly of this great fish. Jonah 1 tells the story of Jonah trying to run away from God. God tried to get his attention and provided a large fish to swallow him. He spent three days and three nights there. Chapter 2 shows the beautiful prayer that he prayed.

3) There were 11 disciples that came to meet Jesus. It's in Matthew 28. That is when he commissioned them to preach the gospel to all the lands. Judas was the missing disciple.

1) Antioch in Syria
2) Three days of prayer and bobbing about in stomach acid
3) None went to a mountain in Galilee, but 7 went up to the Sea of Tiberius to go fishing, and Jesus met them at the shoreline. The mountain Jesus met the rest of the disciples on wasn't in Galilee, it was just outside of Jerusalem. There could have been anywhere from 12 people to over 500 there on the day of the Ascension.

1. They were first called Christians in Antioch.
2. In prayer, throughout the whole time until God ordered the big fish to vomit him by the seashore.
3. Not sure what you are talking about here. But if you are talking about the ascension, all disciples (save for Judas) were there when he ascended.

I'm only going to answer the first for it was the most interesting. The Oxford English Dictionary states that the first use of the English word "Christian" was in 1553 CE. Before that time the specific English word did not exist.

My dear, there is a separate category for TRIVIA... in which you can ask your TRIVIA questions... ALL KINDS of trivia... sports, religious, food, entertainment.

The Religion & Spirituality is aimed more for the discussion of issues, questions of faith, religion, etc. More of an interchange of ideas and opinions.

By the way... Jonah wasn't in the belly of a whale... it was a "BIG FISH" ... and whales are mammals, not fish.

Have a blessed day.

Well, I think I've got the first one down. Antioch.

The second one, I believe he was dead. Doesn't it say that he cried from the belly of hell?

The third one, I really don't know. I suppose I could guess that it was eleven.

Didn't look these up. Heard a message about Jonah recently, so that helped.

1Acts 11:26
And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.
