I need to adjust photos that I upload to Andale for sale on ebay. My Dell computer came pre-loaded with Corel but I haven't gotten used to it and don't like it much. I also have a Kodak Easy Share camera and software, and love it for family photos and editing but NOT for the pictures I put on eBay. Any suggestions? Thanks for your help!

For my ebay pictures, I use an older Sony Mavica digital camera and it either didn't come with software or I have long since lost it. I successfully used Dell Picture Studio for years but when we bought our new computer, it was Corel instead.

Use whatever program came with your camera - that way, you're guaranteed that it will work 100% of the time ;););)

Here are my suggestions with comments about each.

1. Adobe PhotoShop

Best, most expensive, will do almost anything, hard to learn.

2. GIMP

Good, free, will do almost anything, but not quite as much as PhotoShop, and hard to learn. www.gimp.org

3. Picasa (from Google)

Good but basic, free, limited tools that may not do everything you want for eBay, simple to learn and use.

That's the list. I use PhotoShop.

Another option is to use one of the programs specifically made for eBay photo editing, e.g.

FastPhotos - http://www.pixby.com/ - $24.95
Fit To List - http://www.rajeware.com/fittolist/ - $14.95
FotoKiss - http://www.fotokiss.com/ - $39.95

Good luck!
