I have a promise from Jesus Christ, endorsed by the indwelling Holy Spirit, signed in the blood of the Lamb of God.
I think He is able to deliver.

You missed the boat somewhere, Ace.

If you are a saved, believing Christian, your death is already behind you -you are with God, with Jesus and doing the good work NOW. You are in heaven NOW.

Stop scaring folks with the heaven or hell thing; there's more important work for you to do. You can serve the cause better than that running your own inquisition. Besides, this stuff is very personal -should the people of God be answering to YOU? I don't recall seeing your name on the duty roster.

So get busy, love people as your Creator would and as best you can.

I'll be seeing you.

I would definitely be in heaven because I accepted Jesus as my personal savior. Good works will not get anyone to heaven. I'm so tired of everyones' smart remarks to this question. This is serious people! And one day you will all realize that, but it will be too late by then. Do something about it now, people, while you still have a chance!

Neither, I would return to the earth, my body would degrade, fertilizing the ground. I don't need to hold onto some fairytale that life is eternal, I am happy living this one. Religious belief is just another way of saying fear of death.
There's a great quote that I only semi remember that would be very fitting for this question....
I was dead for millions of years before I was born, and wasn't at all inconvenienced....
if anyone remembers the rest of this quote and who said it, I would love to know!

I am saved - I believe in eternal life and the salvation of Jesus Christ - I will be in Heaven. Hope to see you there.

For the "thumbs-downers" - I also believe that the acceptance of the salvation of Jesus Christ is a personal choice - you are free to chose not to believe in Him, free not to accept the gift, free not to worship God. But, I am still free to pray for all of you - and I do.

(no, no, don't thank me - - - - - - just kidding!)

Peace to all . . . . .

I died and went to the other side, it was a wonderful place, I was told many things and was sent back because it wasn't my time. I was not "saved" so no, you do not have to be "saved to go to that wonderful place. you don't have to be christian to go. I wasn't when I went. and am still not, just because it had too many contradictions and I am a thinking person. also because christians beleive there is a hell, and you have to be "saved" to go to heven. I know there is only one place that is wonderful and everyone goes there because I was there.

If I was chosen from before the foundations of the world, wouldn't I have been saved from eternity to eternity?

My dear Grandfather who was the most wonderful Christian i have ever met.said to me on his death bed. I sure hope i was right.we can have faith.and hope that Jesus and his fathers spirit is the way to heaven. His wife later was at the nursing home .she had cancer. and mother told me that she was reading to her. and suddenly her eyes got bright. she was looking up. she smiled .and raised her hands up and cried out Jesus!! and passed on. i do believe that Jesus came and took her to heaven.so i Know that my soul is eternal and that i will go to heaven when i die.and will see all my people again. and will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever.Praise God.and what you say.you accept Jesus as your Savior and that's it? No way.you have to do Gods will to make it to heaven. all that call on the name of the Lord will Not be saved said Jesus. he said that you Have to do Gods will to make it to heaven.to do Gods will you have to know the holy spirit that he left with us. he said he was going back to heaven but he would leave with us the holy spirit. if we don't have that spirit guiding us and we listening to it. and doing Gods will then we will NOT make it to heaven said Jesus. Christ .if you think that all you have to do is believe that Jesus is your Savior. and that's it.; then your lost.you have too live in the spirit to get to heaven said Jesus .the devil knows theirs a Jesus.to know that he is who is his. is not enough. you MUST do Gods will. to know Gods will you have to be connected to the spirit of God.only a few will make it said Jesus.do you know Gods spirit . do you have a relationship with it? i hope so.you seem to me to be one of those who thinks that all you have to do is call on the name of Jesus. thats NOT enough said Jesus. You had better call on the spirit of God.and start listening to it.read the bible sometimes.read what Jesus said.
