Are they actually eating their droppings? Chances are they are just "foraging" the bottom of the cage for any t*t-bits that may have fallen there...
A bird eating its own droppings is a sign of a mineral deficiency. You should provide mineral or iodine blocks which you can purchase from your local pet store....

individually, I quite see my birds on fruit than seed. i'm not shocked what got here approximately right here. Did you withhold the seed... whilst in simple terms offering fruit? in simple terms considering you in simple terms presented fruit... does not recommend the poultry gets sensible and eat it. My conure might starve himself if all he had to eat have been carrots. My dove won't eat her food... if all it is in there is cracked corn. And, my keets (as quickly as I had them).... prevented something alongside with a veggie. you place back the seeds (i'm amassing)... and bam. Now it variety of feels like he does not end ingesting. people artwork an prolonged time to get a poultry off seeds. If i'm outstanding (and please difficult if i'm not)... you're able to introduce different (extra acceptable) ingredients... slowly. not suddenly. And, please... take the poultry to the vet. That point of weight benefit isn't reliable for a poultry. except... the poultry replaced into underweight earlier you acquire it.

They are probably hungry-do they have enough food? If not then have a cuttle bone in there maybe.. And make sure you don't let the cage get too dirty, clean it often.

Mine dont eat their poop because they have adquate food, water, cuttlebones and toys. If they are eating their poop give them a raised floor so they cant get to it.

Do you have a cuttle bone or mineral block for them, in their cage? If not, get one or the other, or better still, both.
