It was amusing in its own way. It was also insulting in its own way, and only served to promote the stereo-type that we keep trying to lose. Sad, but true. We can watch and laugh and understand the humor. Those who don't know or understand Nascar, will watch and laugh at us and it will confirm every "redneck" reference in there.

my house is a nascar family and we all loved it we went the day it came out at the theater. and i bought the dvd the day it came out, we have just about dientigrated the disc we have watched it so many times. my son knows just about every word in the movie. my favorite part of the movie is whenricky bobby is saying the prayer before dinner that was just totally hillarious.

The movie is a good comic releif movie.A light hearted way of getting away from the daily grind.

i loved that movie...it does get funnier b/c each time i watch it i catch something i didn't see before...it's really funny and it's a classic will ferril movie

I loved the movie, but I also love Will Ferrell's insane comedy style. People who don't like Will Ferrell probably won't like the movie.
