i have 3 children and another on the way.
My oldest, my step-son whom i have raised since he was 2 1/2....has the greatest smile in the world. we call it the "Prince Charming Smile"...he could charm the stripes off a zebra w/that killer smile. and he walks right up to me and says..."You look soooo beautiful today Mommy Jen", with that big smile and my heart melts.
My middle child, a son, has the most amazing creative mind. He comes up w/a million stories that are so elaborate and fabulous and the way his face lights up when he tells them to me...makes me tear up at the thought that *I* made such a wonderful SMART little person!
My daughter who is the baby right now...she is full of spunk and sparkle. Her eyes shine when she sees something new for the first time, and she looks at me and babbles her little 18 month old talk and it's just SO cool to watch her thinking about all the new things that she is learning every single day! When she does something she thinks is great she gives me a toothy grin and says..."I did it!"...it's just awesome watching them BE who they are.
My little unborn child...the new baby of the house who will soon be here. every kick and flutter makes me grin. will he look like me? will he look like his daddy? will he have the charming smile of my oldest? the creative mind of my middle child? or the curiosity and wonder of my daughter?
i CANNOT wait to met him and find out!

My children are now teenagers.Watching them grow and become the young adults I wished that they would.Watching them make mistakes and learning from them as not to do them again.Making the decisions that I know I helped to influence by teaching them right from wrong. But most of all no matter what the age just hearing them call me mom....

I love being a Mom, its the greatest gift in life. Even when you have bad days, and maybe they didnt listen...but when you watch them sleeping so innocent, all that frustration goes away, cause they look so cute. I have to boys and I love them to pieces. I lost me my when I was only 17, so I cherish everyday with them :)

About a million things every day. I guess one of the best is seeing them doing things that make them happy and me proud and knowing that I helped make and mold these wonderful kids.

yeah...I wouldnt know where to begin or end the list myself...when I get her out of her crib and she is smiling and saying mommy, and the kisses, and her smile and laugh that melts my heart. And having her learning to count...she says "two, tree, two" and how she just recently has taken to saying "Maw-maw" like a country bumpkin.
Like you...the list goes on.

To many things to list but i think the greatest joy is hearing my son laugh or seeing him smile. And what makes it amazing is hearing "mommy me wuv ooo."

I love when I come home from work and he come and greets me with "Hi mommy" and he's so full of enthusiasm. I've loved watching him learn new things. Everyday is a blessing with my son.
