I feel the same about atheists as I do Christians, Muslims, blacks, asians, etc. I've met all sorts of people before, and I think all people are generally good people. However, I think this website gives a really bad misrepresentation of groups of people. There's a lot of really prejudice people on this site, and their questions and answers create bad stereotypes for themselves.

So I don't have anything really bad to say about them, but from the ones I've met on this site, some seem really narrow minded. It's like they not only limit their beliefs, but they also limit their sources of evidence. I think that science has its limitations, and it can't answer all our questions (ie. "What is the purpose of life?"). Obviously you have to look at the world from different perspectives in order to fully understand it, but some people seem to think that science is the only path to truth. **Not all atheists though!** I have to admit that some atheists are pretty interesting people. One of my past questions was "What does atheism have to offer?" Some of the answers I got were very deep and insightful to how atheists think, but as I said, not everyone is that deep.

Damnable! They tease Christianity and other Abraham belief! And those who are evolutionist also sux! They are using hypothesis to counter creationism. And Evolution doesn't got any philosophy intepretion inside. Atheists philosopher always want to piss every belief, I know they want to be Saint. They did it! Voltaire was RIP and Frenchhead want to have sex with his body in the memorium!!!!!!

THEY HARDEN THEIR HEART AND TRUTH ISN'T IN THEM ANYMORE.

I can't stand in their society. If they treat me well, I accept them(my gal is evolutionist). If they tease me off, I forgive them. What I can do with them is spreading my belief/shut them up.
Someone said, "Christian hate all the non believer!" I say, "Why not atheists? FrX...Xch studied Christianity for 1 weeks and reject it with excuses! Did he hate all the religion?!"
All I have to say is, atheists reject regular religion without a good reason. They reject religion for supporting liberalism! It's just like the world with a spear that piecered everything and a shield can't be piecered by any object. They live in impossible intepretion. They shamed all the academies!
We suppose to live peacefully but they didn't. Then, who is wrong?! Christian?! or atheists?

Sometimes I think people take Atheism as a religion. Reason why I say that is because, well you DO believe in something, which is that no God exists. And as with anything else you have to put "faith" in that concept. Now my only question is where do you go? Somebody told me "to the grave and that's it." But understand the nature of the grave. It's a six foot deep blackhole. And its a state of forever black. That sounds like a type of hell to me.

As an atheist, I've found that most people are shocked when they learn I don't believe in their god. But as they get to know me better, and realize that it doesn't warp my morals or make me a sociopath, it becomes a non-issue.

p.s. to "Nicelyevolve" I live in Arkansas and have attended but not graduated from college

I don't hate them, nor do I hate anyone, but I cannot say that I would invite them over for Christmas.

Your religious beliefs are your choice, but if you have no belief, you are missing out on a deeper, more meaningful life.

Whatever your religious choice is, find it and embrace it!

I perceive atheists as people who have not yet decided on how to worship as of yet. There is time...and hope.

I feel that they are individuals, who for one reason or another, go through the same things as everyone else, but without God in their lives.

They are people, and should not be judged--any more than any religion should be judged. People should be able to use their free-will in any way they want--as long as they do not break the law.

I feel that they are the last bastion of sanity and common sense, and it is they who will put an end to war, human rights abuses, environmental polution and habitat destruction, because they will have the tools of mainstream science to do those things..

Religion on the other hand, offers predominanly negative aspects to humanity and the environment, and is a blight on the modern world..

You know it makes sense..!

Many of them are skeptical, and critical thinkers. Those are two values that I appreciate. This variety frequently asks - But why? That questions is responsible for most if not all of the scientific advancements that the human race is built upon.

Some of them are just angry. That I don't so much appreciate.

I am a christian so I don't agree with them and encourage them to seek Jesus out as their savior but I won't force or scare them. And I also dont hate them, some of them are really cool ppl, I wouldn't be mean to them. They are just ppl, like all of us, I just don't agree with their opinons. That's all, enough said.

They are the side of the argument, I don't get from church. God Bless them, they have point out the more difficult questions about my faith, so that I can find the answers, in a sense they have helped me strengthen my faith.
