okay. so my friend wants a tattoo dedicated to his cousin who recently passed away. tomorrow is his birthday and i said i would help him try and get one. if you don't live in arizona, you probably won't be much help. he's 15 and wants to get it without his parents knowing. does anyone know of any tattoo parlors that don't need parental consent? or do underage tattoos?! PLEASE help me. it's not like he's trying to be a "badass". it's for his cousin that he was really close to. if you're a tattoo artist that lives in az and is willing to do it, please answer. thank you !

oh & don't say anything about underage tatooing or stuff like that. i already know ittt.

thanks :]

Okay, first of all I think it's great that your friend wants to honor his cousin in that way.
I'm not going to say anything bad about underage tattooing, I am simply going to tell you the facts.
You can not get a tattoo from a legitimate tattoo artist without parental concent untill you are 18. It is illegal for them to do so, and they could face major fines and/or jail time for doing it. If he gets one done from a person that will do it without concent there's a MUCH bigger chance of something going wrong (disease, infection, scarring).
Personally, I think that if your friend REALLY wants to honor his cousin he can wait till he's 18. Then he'll really know if he wants it forever, too. If he's forgotten about it by then or doesn't want it when the time comes, no harm done. If he still wants it then he'll still be able to get it done. (that also leaves alot of time to think of and decide/design what he wants to get)

hey, i live in arizona and a lot of kids at my school have a tattoo, and the law is that if you are under 18 u have to have your parent/gardien with you, so like you cant have like ur aunt or cousin or like 20 year old friend! my cousin wanted to get his tounge pierced but my uncle was busy that day (his dad) so my dad (which is my cousins uncle) went with him and he ended up not being able to get it dun because he wasnt with his mom or dad! i am actually going to get an idustrial piercing this week, and in arizona it duznt really matter what age u r it is just as long as u are with ur mom or dad!

they don't!!! while a individual get there tattoo license they have signed asserting a team of crap!! yet you may get them at domicile!! yet once you get ur employer licenses, letting you promote and run your very own buisness from a save they sign asserting they won't and would possibly not tattoo absolutely everyone under the age of sixteen and while your under 18 you're able to have father and mom permission!! and theres plenty different issues they are in a position to't do the two

A "reputable" tattoo shop/artist will not ink someone underage without consent, period.

All tattoo salons require an adult signature to get a tattoo. You could try looking for someone that does it out of their home.
