If they're having a mass, about an hour - MAX. However, most of the Catholics I know just do a wedding service, which is about 20-30 min, like others have said. The only time I've ever seen a wedding service last longer than 60 minutes was when I used to sing during the service. One wedding party chose to baptize their son after the wedding ceremony. If that's not going to happen at your friend's service, you should be ok.

Well it depends on the priest. A ceremony alone is probably about a half hour. Maybe 40 minutes. Add a mass on and it is more like an hour. I was at a wedding on Friday with a slow talking priest and we were there for an hour and 20 minutes. That is I think the extreme though. If the bride and groom has a receiving line at the back of the church it could take 10+ minutes to leave the church.

If the wedding ceremony takes place in the middle of a full Mass then depending on the amount of music, it may last as long as 1 1/2 hours.
If there is not a Mass then maybe 20 minutes.
With love in Christ.

It depends if they are just doing the wedding portion or if there is a mass associated with it. If there is a mass it will be around an hour, give or take a few minutes depending on the priest.

Learn patience, quickly. Catholic wedding seem to last the longest.
The question you will secretly ask yourself will no doubt be: How long do marriages last?
That's the important question.
Buck up, relax, put up with it. Catholic receptions are usually quite a blast.

The ceremony itself, about a half hour. However, if they are having a Mass, just over an hour.
