We want to do something fun and unique for our family (a total of maybe 15-20 people). But we arent really sure if it is really for us. We were thinking about going for a week, having an amazing vacation, and then topping it all off with a wedding. Any info on when is the best time to go, where to eat, what resort is the best, etc. would be very helpful! Thank you.

VERY EXPENSIVE - here's the link http://www.disneyweddings.go.com/site/wed/int/cer/index.jsp
chepest deal is starting at $4K - and that's the minimum.
I'm sure it would be wonderful though!

When I was at Disney World there were several couples lined up to get married. There is very lovely gazebo on site and it looked like a lot of fun. Since it's Florida, I'd go in mid-Spring or late Fall so the weather will not be too hot.

well, we went to disney on our honeymoon and we stayed at the Shades of green, a military resort. it was very nice and we got military discount tickets and got to go to all the parks.

we ate at the rain forest cafe once (down town disney area) and the food was SOOOO good.

if you stay at a disney resort, they have buses that take you either to the park or the monorail system, so no driving around looking for parking spots.

you can buy a book there, called Hidden Mickeys. all throughout the parks are little hidden mickey heads and the book helps you find them ;)

Fun, but pricy. If you are a big Disney fan, then it may be worth it. Of course, you could get married elsewhere in Florida, and just visit the parks on your honeymoon.

The Disney web site has details.

You should try www.disboards.com for information. There is a special message board just for Disney Weddings as well as travel information and park information. I'm sure you will find everything you need on that website.

I haven't thought about doing that, but that sounds like a good idea. that would be awesome!!!! The resorts are the contemporary and the carribean beach resort, you have to go to Epcot, there's so much do there.

A girl I went to high school with did it. She seemed like it was a ton of fun by the look of her smile in all the pics. If you've been there before and saw what there is to do.. then do it.
