No that isn't a good cage for budgies. Since it is made for a larger bird the bards are spaced too far apart for a little bird. Your budgies could escape or worse yet, get his head or body stuck in the bars. I have seen flight cages for small birds that are very large but have closely spaced bars. Look for one of those.

Sorry, but no this is not good for Budgies. Reason why is the space's in the wire are too large and one could get a head caught. Safer ones are available.

Look at cages for Budgies online, note the cage bar spacing and that is for the birds safety. Plus their tiny feet and toes need to be able to grasp onto the bars easily.

Next search for and look at some different "Aviaries" for Budgies. They are big and safe.

The bar spacing might be too large, even though bigger is better. I'd check out the bar spacing..I couldn't find it on that apge...and make sure it's no larger than 1/2 an inch because they really need bar spacing of 1/4 an inch. I'd loko at this cage instead http://www.drsfostersmith.com/Product/Prod_Display.cfm?pcatid=13392&N=2003+113271 Easily house a couple budgies with plenty of room, and best of all it's off the ground so they will feel safer. Plus it is of better quality.

It is a nice big cage for parakeets but you have to make sure the bar spacing is under 3/4 and inch, they cold escape or get their head stuck

Yes it is but i would suggest to get one that is longer not higher. I am getting a parakeet (budgie) tomorrow.

Yes, that is too big for parakeets, they can squeeze through small spaces, and they will.
