Well if you look at his YouTube debates he says Congress has no authority to ban school prayer. Only the local governments do.

Yes, yes he does. He is opposed to secularism. He doesn't think that the Constitution is meant to keep religion out of government. For a detailed discussion see:

Ron Paul has made statement that seem to indicate that this would be his view. Lots of people want our science to go backward a 100 years or so and some are running for president. It is so sad that science is not important in the U S. We could really lose our super power status if we let the uneducated ruled what is taught in school. I am not against the Bible in school I just dont want it confused with science in anyway. This has been done in the U S and Turkey to the point that many of our citizens are confuse about what a fact really is. It is about time that the Ron Pauls get with the real issues of roads bridges food healtcare and get off the stupid talking points that are used to inflame the public

Congress didn't ban it, the Supreme Court did and rightly so since it flys in the face of the Constitution
..... "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof . . . ."

That means for or against religion and since the public school system is an government entity they can not teach the bible.

Here is a question for you.....if the Supreme Court did change and allowed religion to be taught in public schools.......what religion would be allowed? All of them of just a selected one? If you allowed any 1 you would be forced to allow them all.

I'm not sure if he believes that or not, but Church is for teaching the bible, not school. I believe that faith is VERY important, but churches were made for the purpose of teaching Gods word and for a place to congregrate. School is for learning the tools necessary to suceed in the world. Math, English, ect... belong in schools, not the Bible.

GOD FORBID the teaching of religion!

Religion should be taught in history and theology class, along with the Greek and Egyptian theology. America's obsession with religion is sickening. That the most modern nation immerse itself with filthy superstition, it's almost unbelievable.

I think Ron Paul is for separation of church and state, since that is in the Constitution, and he holds true to the principles of our Constitution and the founding fathers.

Ron Paul rocks.....He is the only hope for America! Besides Jesus, of course
