It's normal if there are some Manx genes in the kittens' family tree. The father might have been a Manx, or the mother or the father or both can have recessive Manx genes and have tails, but if the kittens got a recessive Manx gene from both parents, that results in taillessness
Chances are, the kittens will be fine. If they have problems, it will probably be with their urinary system or bowels, which may not become apparent till after they start using a litter box, or even later. Constipation and urinary retention are more comon than the opposite.

This is from some where in the line of your cat's family.
My mom had a cat who was normal, but one of her kittens was born with only 3 legs.
Later when that kitten of 3 legs was big she had kittens and all were born normal. Now, the cat with the 3 legs had both normal eyes, but of her first litter, one kitten had a green eye and a blue eye. Another had brown eyes and the rest had her eyes.
This all depends on the cat's parents and those before them.
It is like hereditary.

it happens sometimes, they might have manx genes somewhere or just have been born without tails. Keep an eye on them and watch for unusual behavior, but I don't think there will be a problem. (My aunt once had a tailless cat that literally climbed the walls!) No worries!

Cats that are born without tails have the potential to have rectum problems. They can be incontinent or prone to diarrhea. Nerve problems in the spine can be associated with tailessness. Just watch the kittens closely as they grow to see if everything is OK.

Is it possible that your cat mated with a manx? Manx are cats that naturally don't have tails. (Manx are not uncommon.) But if this is the case, the kittens are perfectly normal.
