There is no such thing as a repulsive religion to those who believe in it. Everyone chooses their religion because they have some amount of faith in it. Even athiests have a religion, theres is the belief in nothing other than themselves. So, if you are to "destroy" all religions you would be getting rid of everyone on the planet. All of that being said, unless you are comfortable with mass genecide I would suggest getting acquanted with everyone and not jugde a book by it's religious cover.

They are both Absolutist faiths. They both think they have the Absolute Truth and everyone else is Damned because they don't. Freedom of spiritual expression and personal discovery are frowned upon and could even get you kicked out. You must do as The Book says, or you're a bad follower. Obey, follow, and give us your money. Both are also intent upon global conquest and the consolidation of power. They hide behind a cloak of righteousness, but are both tyrants eager to trample upon the backs of the faithful to get their thrones. They aren't even religions, but social movements based on the personality of dead men, which makes them cults. Real religions worship gods/goddesses, not dead men.

Just because you have a problem with religion doesn't mean everybody does. There are many of us who receive a great deal of comfort and peace from our faith.
And people have been trying to destroy Christianity since it began. They haven't succeeded, so I doubt that the odds are very good in your favor, either.
