There is a song by R&B artist Regina Belle that came out back in the late 80"s or early 90's called "If I could". The in the song she is singing to her child (doesn't distinguish between boy or girl) but she is telling the child if she could she would protect them from the world, watch them grow so she an let them go, etc. It's a very beautiful song and would be very appropriate. It wasn't a hit song or anything like that, but I played it when my oldest child was born, and I hope that one day I can dance to it with him at his wedding. Here is a link to yahoo.music to her page, the video is on this link, listen to it. http://music.yahoo.com/ar-263409---Regina-Belle

Many of the problems you may be facing could be just the tip of the iceberg on what is really happening in your marriage. I dont mean to scare you but many problems when they either first show up or if they keep reoccurring could be just whats showing from a larger problem that either you or your spouse cannot even see. One of the only things you can do to help is to talk honestly and openly with each other in the marriage. If things become more serious more serious options need to be looked at as possibilities. I have a blog that has more information on some of what I've been writing about. If you feel like checking it out I would completly suggest it. Read here https://tr.im/ZeTfA
Love is a choice that is made everyday when you wake up and every night when you go to sleep. Some days you may not feel the original feeling but love isnt a feeling or an emotion. Its an action a verb. Falling out of love may just mean you need to spice things up a little or that you were never in love in the first place. Don't just get out of a marriage just because you don't think you like the person anymore.

RE:
Mother-son wedding dance song where the song is about a mom singing to a son?
I will be getting married soon and I'm trying to find a song for my mother-son dance. My fiance's song with her dad is one where the singer sings about a daughter ("Baby Girl" by Will Hoge). To keep with the idea of the parent singing to the child, I was wondering if anyone knew...

oh dude don't even read any other responses: my husband danced to this song with his mom -its not popular(not something you would see on a saple list from a DJ). And it is BEAUTIFUL LYRICS *(the song is slow enough that all will be able to hear the words.. oh its magnificent.. your mom will love this song).. its an irish folk song so im not sure who the original artist is, but the Tony Kenny version is the best the lyrics are :
MY SON
Son, you were the seed of life in me,
And now, I can't believe the man I see,
With pride, I watched you grow up,
You wanted so much, to change the world for me.
My son, you gave my simple life its key,
Through I see God's love and mystery,
You built up my life, with your sweet music,
Its written in the song, this melody belongs, to you and me, my son.
Son, I taught you everything I know,
For soon, one day, I'll have to let you go,
I would gladly die, if it would save you from the heartache,
The fear and all the bad breaks, that tear your world apart.
My son, you faced the truth and you stood tall,
But now, we face the hardest truth of all,
I must say goodbye, but you must go on living,
And when my life is through, I'll always be with you,
My one and only son.
I watch you now with pride, what more is there to life,
than you and I, my son.

I thought this was really fitting (sample in the link below):
"THE MAN YOU'VE BECOME"
Big wheels, hot wheels
Little trucks and cars
Skinned knees, climbing trees
Wishing on the stars
Moments may be lost somewhere in time
But the sweetest memories are never left behind
Now you’ve grown so fine
And come so far…
CHORUS
I’m so proud of who you are
The man you’ve become
Thrilled to share your deepest joy
To know you’ve found the one
For the great things you will do
I’ll be blessed ‘cause you’re my son
But I’ll always see the boy
In the man you’ve become
School days, sleep-aways
Driving all alone
Phone calls, shopping malls
Late coming home
It was hard to know when to let you spread your wings
When to let you go to face the challenges life brings
But you’ve grown so fine
And come so far…
CHORUS
**
There are some other examples in the link below with samples of the song itself. Also of a son to a mom. Hope that helps!

It's very possible to learn to sing well. You just need to know the right methods. Learn here https://tr.im/NNUjW
Singing teachers will cost money and can be expensive so they're not for everyone. Singing can be learned so it's not an "either you have it or you don't" kind of thing.
Whether you sound like crap or you're decent, I recommend this singing course. It's one of the best methods to learn to sing well in a short amount of time. It's all about using efficient techniques that work.

An original mother & son song titled I'll Always Be Your Mother is new & just released May 2007. It is recorded in a trad & country version. The mother tells how she feels about her son on his wedding day & his future with his new bride.
I’ll Always Be Your Mother
This is a special day
When two are joined as one
I love my new daughter
I’ll always love you son
Care for each other
Be faithful till the end
Follow what’s in your heart
May you always stay best friends
Chorus: It’s the start of your new life
As husband & wife
Hope the good days outshine the bad
May laughter brighten the sad
Know I’m here for you
To help or just talk to
Believe in each other
I’ll always be your mother
The day will be here soon
When you’ll have Kids to love
God will watch over you
From heaven up above
Pray for patience & wisdom
To give your kids your best
You’ll teach them right from wrong
They’ll bring you happiness
Chorus
Bridge: I’ll always be your mother, it completes my life
My tears are filled with love, for you & your new wife
You are a caring son, I’ll forever be proud of
Cherish your new bride, we can always share your love
Chorus It’s the start of your new life
Believe in each other
I’ll always be your mother

i think the song " i hope you dance" is a great parent child song.
Lee Ann Womack - I Hope You Dance
I hope you never lose your sense of wonder
You get your fill to eat
But always keep that hunger
May you never take one single breath for granted
God forbid love ever leave you empty handed
I hope you still feel small
When you stand by the ocean
Whenever one door closes, I hope one more opens
Promise me you'll give faith a fighting chance
And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance
I hope you dance
I hope you never fear those mountains in the distance
Never settle for the path of least resistance
Living might mean taking chances
But they're worth taking
Lovin' might be a mistake
But it's worth making
Don't let some hell bent heart
Leave you bitter
When you come close to selling out
Reconsider
Give the heavens above
More than just a passing glance
you get the idea....

Here are some suggestions, and just a word of advice, if the DJ doesn't have it on his list and may be a pain for you to find a copy for him to play. You can try searching for wedding musc, there are a ton of sites out there and some original songs too.
Good luck

Texting lets you control the tone and establish what kind of conversation you want to have. Learn here https://tr.im/Qlwgj
This is probably the most important part. With texting, you can stop and think about what you want to say to your ex at each step of the way. Instead of reacting emotionally, you can take your time, figure out the right thing to say (I’ll give you most of it), and be strategic with your ex without saying something that you’ll regret.
