For example, the often stated allegation that the polar bears are becoming extinct has nothing to do with what is actually occurring. It is true that one group of polar bears are having difficulty responding to the changes in their environment. However, the other polar bear group populations are actually expanding.
The polar ice packs are acting in a similar fashion. While some are receding, others (most) are continuing to expand, in particular at the Solar ice caps. The Al Gore movie showing ice breaking off from ice packs is an example of spinning to gain a political positions. In fact this is a natural event that is called calving. It has always occurred. He has taken a natural event, filmed it, and then used it to make a point that actually doesn't exist.

I would do a pepsi challenge with the leading authors- look at who writes the material- see who is the more senior author, employed by the more respected institution, and the source and field of the author's P.hD. Like it or not, a doctorate in Climatology from MIT beats a Doctorate in Science Education from the University of South Florida, yet holders of either must compete for publishing space in the same journals when it comes to environmental theory.

When you have an agenda in mind, you will always use the EVIDENCE how you prefer, in order to back up you own argument.
This is what is currently happening.
global warming, global cooling is part of this planet's cycles,
as I see it, the debate is moot.

you're right... Global Warming has been going on since the last Ice age... what is in dispute is if or how much mankind is contributing to it.... and for those that seem to follow the party line on Global Warming the only solution is to surrender your freedom as a human being to the elite that know what's best for all the plebiscite....

Many are conservatives who carry their politics to extremes. If liberals, environmentalists, or, worse yet, Al Gore say something it must be wrong no matter how many scientists have proven it with hard data.
They should listen to Newt. Thoughtful and knowledgeable conservatives know this is proven fact.

because i think its because my teacher said that the people who cause it they know its true but they dont want other people to know its true because then their company's would go out of business so they hire some people to tell others that global warming is not true and some actually beleive it because they feel less scared to tell themselves its not true but it is infact and its not scarey we can help out
