well, since the music in Church is supposed to echo the Heavenly music, I'd say I would have to make a new mental picture of what Heaven was like. Would the closing hymn be something from Queen?

I think it's pretty progressive. Church's need to be doing new things like that.
I'm sure you didn't know that almost all the tunes from great historic hymns were actually BAR SONGS! Those were the tunes people new, so the words were changed to make them Christian and now they are some of the classic hymns of all time!
Nothing wrong with that. In fact, churches who don't change like this will be dead within 40 years.

frankly the beegees are the only way to listen to that song Alot of songs for that matter , so i would say let the beegees do it stick to the tried and true...
