Yeah, you can, but your going to have to finish that soda before you get through security. You can bring the drinks that you buy after security and bring those on the plane. The chips, candy etc...are fine with security.

yes you can, you can bring on anything that you purchase on the gate side of security, doesnt matter if its a drink or snack food. you cant bring liquids thru security though so wait to by your drink once you clear the xray machines. i always stop at subway before i get to the airport and put a small sandwich in my computer bag. you never know what they will have for food on a plane and there have been more than a few times people have made offers to buy it off me when i bust out the sandwich on a long flight, lol. the only time i have ever seen anyone have a problem trying to bring food on a plane was when the food had a really strong smell, so as long as you stay with basic stuff, chips, candy, nuts, basic sandwiches, you should be all good.

Dry foods, yes. Drinks, no.. unless they are 3 ounces and below and plainly visible on entry to the plane. Or if you bought them after the security checkpoint. Certain liquids are allowed (baby formula), but you'll need to clear it with the airline prior to boarding.

However, the airline may not allow you to bring it onboard even then. So, always check with the attendants to make sure that what you have is allowed. Don't assume.

As long as you bought the food and drinks inside the terminal, after going through security, you can. Airlines have been allowing people to do that, ever since they took away meal service on most flights.

Yes. We recently flew from the UK to the US and I brought a packed lunch onboard in my carry-on luggage for my nearly 2 year old daughter. I had cheese and ham sandwhiches, apples, grapes, bananas and cookies in a mini cooler and didn't have any problems at all boarding the international flight. I was also allowed to bring her water cup with me.

You CAN bring your own drinks and food on the plane, unless it's alcohol. AIrlines don't allow people to bring their own liquor - presumably to control a person's intake - as well as making money!

Yes. But you have to purchase your drinks(except alcohol) after you go through security. Most airlines encourage you to purchase your own food for peanuts may not hold you too long!
