Never heard of do it your self braces. Also, anything under $50 for braces is going to look and be a cheap alternative that probably doesn't work.

I had self-ligating and did not want the colored bands. Results are quicker with self-ligating and less pressure is put on teeth because they move/slide freely on the wire as opposed to the colored bands holding the wire and bracket to each tooth. Elastics stain and the assistant has to push and pull a little to get them around your brackets every time. If you're sore, this doesn't feel very good.

Dont waste your money on that, if you want straight teeth you will have to go to the ortho.
If you do not have the money for that just learn to love your teeth. People spend thousands on braces including myself, if there was a cheaper way we would all be doing it.

unless you are a professional don't mess with your teeth ... do it your self orthodontia .. I don't think so, if it was so great a lot of people would do it, if you want to straighten your teeth look into getting a better job with insurance and/or getting a 2nd job to help pay for them. Seriously would you buy a do it yourself tummy tuck kit??

look up rubber band braces on you tube though they are not a kit from Walmart. They are almost free. Not recommended.
