Having a horrendous meeting with a boss years ago when I worked in the NHS. I believe the whole thing was a set up. But not long afterwards, there was a reorganisation and the boss was going to lose her a job, and someone else resigned due to something unrelated. Things got a lot better after that.
I still get a bit jittery when a manager wants a meeting, but most have been okay since then. This is not a reflection on the NHS though, although I don't work for it anymore due to career changes not related to the horrendous meeting but things going on since then.
Also, being asked personal questions makes me a bit panicky!!!!!

Nothing really, I am a bit bothered by wasps and daddy long legs but I guess stuff like that is normal. I also hate clowns which is a little wierd, and ***warning the following statement may cause offence, for which I apologise!!*** Women who are pr........ about to have mini-me's, it makes me feel a little ill to see them. I even walked up 5 flights of stairs the other week to avoid being in a lift with one. Irrational I know, but saying the p work, looking at the resulting b's and associated stuff freaks me out, I have to avert my eyes or leave. Sorry all you 'earth mothers' or whatever out there, but I'd much rather have puppies. I don't know why I feel like that, I've tried cradling my friends mini-me to 'cure' me of this obsession, but I had to give her back. My parents have always been very loving and wonderful parents, so I've had no outside influence from anywhere - it's just me being a weirdo lol!

I've worn glasses since I was 4 years old. When I was about 8 or 9, I turned on the water in the tub to get warm, then started the shower going, and stepped into the tub. There was something gray/brown that was swirling around the bottom of the tub, and it landed on my foot. I figured it was just a lump of hair that was loosened from the drain by the flowing water, so I ignored it. Until it began to scurry up my leg. I screamed so loud when I realised it was a huge gray wolf spider from the creek near our house.
I still can't stand spiders or "hairy" looking insects, like those milipedes that have all the hairy looking legs.... *shudder*

I was living in my place of business. I heard a guy walking on the roof late at night. Shortly after that stopped I heard this big crash of the glass breaking out of the front door. I was in the middle room and quickly scurried to the back where I hid in the shower. The intruder robbed my business by stealing the safe which was at my feet in the middle room. Fortunately, that's not where I kept the money but I did lose some valuables.
Any time I heard footsteps on the roof, after that, I'd get a chill.

I had collick 7 yrs a go,it would cause me to collapse in terrible pain and would also paralyse me for a short while, this would happen walking down the street or in shops or public areas, not much of a warning when it would come on,this was very embarassing as people would think i was either drunk or a nut case,i was told by the doctor after having been treated, that this condition could happen again, god forbid,so now i fear this happening again.

panic feeling like I am smothering from almost drowning as a child. I wake up in the middle of the night and believe I can't breathe when I know there is enough oxygen in the room. It is so very scary.

public speaking - i hate it. I have nightmares days before a presentation at uni. It's gotten so bad, that i barely go to seminars because i am afraid of being picked on in discussion. I wonder what the proper word is for it!

We had a drunk from down the road stumble down our drive till he was outside my parents bedroom window and I woke up to hear him and my dad give a yell of fright when my dad went out to investigate. Ever since I can't get over the fact that strangers might be lurking in teh shadows outside (and sometimes inside!) our house at night. It's an incredibley irrational fear but it sucks. :(

When my 11month old son has seizures because I never know when he is going to start breathing again. He looks dead and that is the scariest thing in the world. I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy.
