It really amuses me how people hate Al Gore. Even BushCo is compelled to admit global warming is happening now.

And I see several especially slavish idiots are resurrecting the old "Al Gore invented the internet" smear from the 2000 campaign! Hilarious.

Gore's been at the cutting edge of global warming since the 70s. His father was a huge advocate of cleaning up the globe. He's obviously done a great job of instilling the earth's value upon his son. Gore has had an inside track on this whole thing, meeting with scientists, geologists, environmentalists, etc, gleaning what information he can regarding the current and present state of the planet. Al is acting less for politics and more for the sake of the planet than I've ever seen him in years. After watching his film, I've come to realize that it's probably too late for us to do anything viable with the planet. Back then, the 70s, it was possible for "Mother Earth" to heal herself and she did a good job of it, too. It's just become so very overwhelming with more people and more polutants than ever messing up this planet. What's sad is, Americans can claim at least 60% of the ongoing "mucking up" of the planet. "Yeah America!" And we have a president who could care less. katiefish <><

international warming is in simple terms the subject remember of the 2nd. My buddy Al is in simple terms getting exposure to maintain himself fairly suitable. AL is an identical guy that replaced into crying international cooling a team of years in the past. Did you spot that the massive assembly in Washington D.C. on international warming had to be canceled through fact of a snowfall? right this is my take on the entire deal -- that's a organic prevalence, and we bypass via 10~11 year cycles. That plenty is actuality. that's real that vegetation want the CO2. I say do your area to save the timber!!

We need extremist like Al Gore to balance the equally extreme idiocy of big oil, and environmentally irresponsible administrations like George W. Bush's.

Despite his fervor, what Gore proposes is sensible, and will only help the planet, but it will make a lot of disgustingly rich people slightly less disgustingly rich.

He claims to be the father of the internet. But when we were working on this 25 years ago, I hadn't heard of him.

No. He may have the respect of some and some fans, but I don't think anyone worships him.
