k heres the deal, i saw a lot of videos of budgies playing with toys out of the cage and stuff and i really want my budgies to do that, he doesnt even play with thte toys in the cage. ive had him for about 2 or 3 weeks and yeah.
please answer !!!

It took my budgies a few weeks to get used to things in their new cage, then they finally started to play. Give him more time. When he's out of his cage, he's going to want to explore everything before playing. Once he is used to being out, try introducing one new toy at a time.

It is just new and probably hasn't discovered toys yet, especially if it is store bought. Take a toy out of the cage and use it outside the cage adn play with him. Drag it around and if it has a bell on it, ring it. Show him hwo to explore the toy then put it in the cage, and buy more for outside the cage.
