No, but make sure you rinse it out really well, the best idea would probably be to also get volumizing conditioner, they should have some in whatever brand or shampoo you have.

A conditioner will never ruin your attempt to volumize your hair. In a matter of fact there are conditioners that could volumize hair.

No, just use volumizing conditioner. I use Big Sexy Hair shampoos and conditioners and it works great

No - not if you use a volumizing conditioner too. Avoid heavy, thick conditioners, apply a minimal amount, avoid the roots, and rinse the conditioner out completely.
