You could buy a specially made bird bath that attaches to the cage door, and you put some lukewarm water in it. If your bird wants to bathe, it will, if it doesn't, it won't.

Just put the shallow dish of water in the cage once a day until she gets used to it. Some budgies bath more than others.

ok what you need to do is show her the the contaner for about a couple days, then start putting your fingers in the water and flicking the water at your parakeet, and do that for about 2 or 3 days then jus tput the contaner at the bottem of the cage and if the parakeet wants to should take a bath, but makke sure the water is not to hot but not to cold and you clean it out alot, like everyday

It's instinct, she'll bathe sooner or later! Don't worry. If it's been a long time time and she's never bathed once splash a tiny bits of water at her and she'll learn.

http://www.drsfostersmith.com/Product/Prod_Display.cfm?pcatid=16514&N=2003+113653 I suggest something like this, so that the bird doens't ahve to go on the bottom of the cage. Some really like it, and other just use it periodically. You cna splash your finger in it to show her it is jsut water to help her see the idea, but it is realy up to them.

Don't try to teach her. You may hurt her. Some will get in & some won't. I had large water cups in the cage that they decided to make birdbaths. They had the best time in them & looked so funny wet! If she takes one she does, if she doesn't she doesn't.

It comes natural to them. If they want to, they will, if they dont want to, they wont. You can bathe her yourself if you want.
good luck
