if you just walked by and saw a guy biking, would you think that he is a loser or a cool person?? because I recently started biking and I'm finding myself avoiding say "cooler" people from my school because i'm scared they'll think that i'm a loser..><

Man, your asking people on a cycling forum if they think bikes are cool... Ahemmm
Now I was into riding/racing when in high school. I had to do a speech in my - DUH - speech class! I brought my Raliegh Road Ace in and talked for 15 minutes. I got a standing ovation! EVERYONE was awed about the whole bike thing. True story...

If You are worried about what others think of you, you are in for a life of disappointment when you get out of school. The only people who think they are "cool" really aren't and look to each other to tell them how "cool" they are. If you like biking DO IT! Who cares what others think, someday you will look back and see how silly the whole "cool" thing is, and this doesn't only pertain to biking, If you enjoy a not too "cool" sport, get off the couch and Do it! It's your life not theirs. Losers are people who never try or dare to be different.

I started riding alot in HS, and didn't give a damn what anybody thought of me. I wasn't a fool spending all my money on car insurance and gas. I didn't get my driver's license till I was 18. When I was in HS, I rode the piss out of my bike, worked, and partied. I never had to worry about a DUI, or finding a ride. I rode a really nice aluminum hardtail in those days. It was all custom and waaayyy early nineties. Hell, I even got laid...without a car. Piss on anyone who thinks you're uncool for riding a bike. They'll all end up fat and lazy, and wishing they were all trim and fit and stuff. You are already cooler than they are, you just don't know it yet.

Are you really think that all the cyclists is loosers ? It is cool to ride the bike so don't be worry about it . Bicycling is good for everybody ! Just be happy that you riding bicycle .

Most of the women I know think cyclists are HOT!!! Sexy legs, firm butts and flat stomachs. Who cares what the so called "dudes" say. They won't have the chics!
