- Do you ever know that you're actually dreaming?
- Also, if you do know, do you take full advantage of it? As in do you try to make something appear or disappear? Do you start doing whatever you want, knowing that it's not real and that nothing can hurt you?
-Do you wake up right away after you realize that you're in your dream?
-And finally, before gong to sleep, do you ever think about a specific person ;) or a thing that you want to dream about, and does it work?

Thanks, it's a reserch that I'm doing =)

Not really. I think it's fun to let the dream take it's own course. I mean, I realize I'm dreaming, but probably will remember in the morning I had a dream and not remember it's details. Before i go to bed, yes there are dreams i would like to have, but it takes imagining scenes before i got to sleep and actually dream about them. Sometimes that even doesn't work. But I never like try to have a dream.

Also, include this in your research, how often dreams come. Sometimes, around say a week or month, i will have a lot of dreams. Sometimes i will have very few.

Good question. Dreams are one of the things I don't really think about very much.

Normally, by the time i realize that none of this could actually be happening and i'm dreaming, i automatically wake up. If i could i would totally take advantage of it, but i'm not that lucky. sometimes i dream about things i think about before i go to sleep, but not always. sometimes, if i'm really nervous about giving a speech or making try-outs, i have a dream about it. If i have a crush on a guy, and i've been thinking about him all day, i normally dont dream about him. I dont think you can really have complete control over your dreams (what you do in your dream or what you're dreaming about). good luck on the research thing!

I realize that I am in a dream when things are going on that I know would never happen in real life, but then, I pass on to the next phase of the dream state, and I am too damn tired to try and do anything on purpose, so I just let the dream proceed. It's not like I can change reality through a dream, otherwise, I would be tanning on my yacht in the Caribbean instead of at home in front of my computer!

I do know when i'm dream, but sometimes i have no clue what i'm dreaming about. I make alot of things disappear in my dreams and we'll be here forever if i tell you all of it. I do think about a specific person or place before i go to sleep, it's fun that i know in my dreams i can have this person all to myself, and good luck on your researching.
