Yes your husband should wear a suit. Your son could wear nice dress pants, a long sleeve shirt and a nice vest. You should wear a knee length dressy chiffony type dress with spaghetti straps. This is the year of the dress. High open sandals heels, nice earrings and necklace and you will be in style and all ready to go.

it depends on the wedding and where it is, what time, etc. if it is a summer wedding outdoors, it is acceptable for the men and boys to wear cacky dress pants and nice shoes and a button down shirt, even short sleeves if it is during the day and outdoors. if the reception is at night and indoors, they should probably wear jackets and ties, not necessarily suits though. if the reception is very upscale and fancy, then suit and tie are a must. often times people wear something a little more comfortable and casual to the ceremony, and really dress up for the reception, that part is personal preference. good luck with everything and have fun!

a ring is a logo, it does not define. i latterly lost my wedding ceremony band - it slipped off whilst we've been planting this previous spring. I honestly have worn that ring for in simple terms approximately 24 years now. that's between the few fabric issues that had which potential. I remind myself that's in simple terms a fabric 'element' yet i'm unhappy that's long previous. we've not got the money on the 2nd to interchange it, yet we can in some unspecified time interior the destiny. So, outstanding now i'm married and not donning a ring (I by no potential needed an engagement ring). i attempt to shaggy dog tale approximately it - I tell my husband to maintain his distance while we are out as i could be waiting to p.c.. somebody up - lol. additionally, i understand couples who're allergic (I honestly have a buddy who can not placed on any metallic) or whose jobs require they placed on no jewelry. each and every now and then there are reliable motives people do not placed on a ring while married. I probable does not be conscious if somebody replaced into not donning a ring. It does not remember to me.

What time is the wedding, where is the wedding? If it is an evening wedding - yes suits. If it is a daytime wedding at a church, jacket and tie for the ceremony, lose the tie for the reception.

Unless you are participating in the wedding, such as ushers, guest book attendant etc, then you they do not need to wear suits. For boys I would say dress pant such as dockers or khaki's and a nice button down shirt. For young boys maybe a vest, if you have ties I would say wear them, if not no big deal.

For your husband I would say dress pants a button down shirt and a sport coat. Tie not necessary. Now if you don't have a sport coat then have him wear a tie to dress it up.

(Oh and people do not dress casual for the ceremony and dressier for the reception, you should look nice for both.)

They should dress up, your hubby a suit and tie and at least a nice shirt and slacks for your son (depending on his age)
