Do you put the roll in the dispenser so that the paper comes off the front or from behind?

As a person who has done house cleaning for over a decade, by virtue of the overwhelming majority of my clientelle... along with public restrooms around the world... the proper way to orient the TP in the dispenser is rolling TOP over to front.
Case closed.

I always put it so the paper comes off in the front, simply because at restaurants when they have it so it's to the back, alot of times it's touching whatever, the wall, the toilet paper holder, etc. and I can't stand that! So...I think it's healthier to have it come off the front!

I put the tolite paper so it rolls off from the top, this way you don't have to feel the bottom of the roll to find the paper end.

As long as it is there and there is a spare roll available, it matters not which way you put it on the dispenser.

My wife and I discussed this just last week
She wants the paper coming from behind (for looks sake)
I prefer the paper coming from the front as it is much more practical when reaching for it
But as long as there is paper there.....no problem!!!!!!!

We learned to place it in the front. In all my years of public rest room visits...it has been the same. It does work better, even if you can get used to the other way. Nothing personal.

Off the front. my parents had it the other way and I guess I'm a rebel. However one of the cats usually has it in shreds on the floor anyway.....
