It has dawned upon me that people who dislike Al Gore don't support the Global Warming and Live earth issues. Now its all basically saying, clean up your back yard, stop using too much electricity and try to recycle. Is that so bad/hard to do? What is the big deal? Global Warming issues existed long before Al Gore decided to run for president the first time, so please Wake up and smell the fresh air, plant a tree....

I could care less who the messenger is.
It's the message I care about, and the message is a LIE.
Greenhouse gases are a RESULT of global warming, not a CAUSE.
I particularly don't like a message that gives government more power. I enjoy my freedom, thank you.
I recycle every day because I CHOOSE to and it is a reasonable thing to conserve our resources. It is not reasonable to think that man has any lasting effect on global temperatures.
By the way, one of the original founders of Greenpeace agrees with me. Look it up.

Buddha-rama, if you have a problem with the facts, then dispute them using your own reasoning skills. Name calling is not a valid argument.

That is not true.

Many people who support the Global Warming issues are opposed to Al Gore because he discredits the issue rather than helps it.

The actual scientific work is quite good, however in his movie Al gore exaggerated much of the scientific work and made up so called facts that are not facts..

That destroys the credibility of the serious people who have been trying to solve this problem for years.

Al Gore destroys much of the credibility that we need if we are to have any chance of getting the support that we need to solve this issue.

I feel sorry for those who finds politics everywhere and any where! To stop the global warming the USA, UK, Japan and G-7 countries must come now or never. These developed countries are the greatest violator of the Kioto declaration and other treaties.

Al Gore.....Hypocrite. Get rid of the jet and the mansion then preach about reducing your energy footprint.

Live Earth: A Joke. How much energy did they use to put on a concert to promote........ummm, energy savings? Really.

Madonna: Hypocrite. Has 10 of the worse fuel economy vehicles in the world (except the mini). Practice what you preach.

I have more........if you want more examples.

I plant a fresh cut Christmas tree every year in my living room. Al Gore contributes more to Global warming every month than I do in a year.

If you would watch horror movies, you'd know the problem. In any horror movie, there's always the first person to figure out there's a monster on the loose. He goes around telling everyone about the monster. Everyone else thinks he's crazy. At the end of the movie they realize he was right all along. Hence the term "mad scientist."

That applies only if one assumes that the message is true... and that the messenger is honest and has real knowledge of what he is conveying.... *AND* he isn't making a huge profit off of the message...

Algore is like the drunk telling others to sober up. He uses more energy than 6 families while preaching for others to sacrifice.

The message he promotes is wrong and it is only to develop political power.
