the only way that we will have any chance of stopping Global Warming is if we reduce our carbon dioxide emissions to almost zero.
At most, our carbon dioxide emissions cannot be more than 10% of what they are today.
That is a huge reduction.
If we cut our economy back to get that kind of reduction, the economy would be destroyed, virtually everyone would be unemployed.
We would create poverty and misery on a scale that we have not known in modern history.
If we tried to replace that electricity with electricity generated by wind power or solar cells it would be too unreliable.
Wind power does not work when the wind is not blowing. Solar power does not work when the sun is not shining.
Fortunately nuclear power is safe and reliable and does not produce carbon dioxide emissions.
According to the best estimates it would take 2,000 nuclear power plants to replace all of the needs for energy in the United States.
All of the automobiles would have to be electric. All gasoline and diesel powered cars, including hybrids would have to be banned.
All of the heating and cooling of our homes would have to become electric. No more natural gas or oil.
If we built 100 nuclear power plants per year it would still take 20 years to build all of the necessary nuclear power plants.
We must start building those nuclear power plants today.
Today's youth can play a big role in this effort.
Today's youth must demand that the legislators take action to begin construction on nuclear power plants to replace the fossil fuels that we currently use.

I think Global Warming is a piece of crap. The temperature fluctuates over hundreds of years all the time, and even some of the thermometers used in studies are often found in extremely warm places, or near objects that produce large amounts of heat. I don't think we have much to worry about. All I know is plenty of Liberal lobbyists are making plenty of money off of the theory.

theres no such thing as global warming. There was for ex a global cooling episode in the '70s. This is just the earth being itself
do u think that we are influencing the environment more than in the 17-19 centuries where one house put out more coal smoke more than 3 factories today?

i don't think of its any distinctive from how youth acted 2 many years in the past. they are going to attempt and verify out their limits and that all of them choose to be older than they are. i'm beneficial your little ones will probable be doing an identical element while they are youth. i replaced right into a somewhat tame teen for the main area, yet I used to drink and do different "undesirable" issues on occasion. i'm going to assert that youngsters now-a-days are somewhat extra sexually progressed than my "technology" and that i'm in simple terms 24.

we dont know what to do to help out. Also, we have heard so much conflict about global warming if it is just natural or actually something really to be conserned about. We have studied it in school which just has us even more confused as what to believe because we are taught both sides.

Today's youth are the best educated generation ever. I find it encouraging that so many of them are intelligent enough to NOT dance to the tune of politically motivated alarmism.

Global warming is the biggest HOAX ever invented. 500 yrs ago, the earth was warmer than it is now. It is a natural cycle of the earth.
