Now where's that chameleon hiding out ? Oh yes, under that pile of stars, next to the Coyote.

{{{{{{{{{{{{Cosmic Stars}}}}}}}}}}}}

P.S.

I would have said "What does this have to do with Religion and Spirituality ?", but you told me not to. Can I have best answer now ?

Cummon, gimme the best answer, or I won't give you any more stars.

What ??? OK, if you want to be like that, I'll start giving you the old 'thumbs down' too.

And what's with those eyes ?

Warning : Most of the above was written while the writer was under the influence of a mind-altering substance, otherwise known as a 'sense of humour'.

I star questions 'because scripture must be fulfilled' (something like that) How's that for a religious excuse?
I have to continue to 'batter the brow of Moab', in the continuing saga of religious warfare and comedy (woops...I mean, 'tragedy'.) The stars I assign aren't always for good or amusing questions, but to draw attention to a question so that my chosen contacts can easily see it. Sometimes someone is so far out there I just gotta say something about it, without making an incendiary remark. You can have a star, too, if you wish.

P.S. I wonder what stoogey will say?

No -- I star so my network can see what interests me and so I can see what their opinion is of a specific issue being addressed. I also star so I can review the question later. I star if I think something is ridiculous and needs to be addressed by people I know will do an answer justice. I star because I like what has been asked -- whether it is funny, challenging, and so on.

But you have told us VOLUMES about why YOU star, haven't you?

BTW, here is a star for you!

Sometimes yes.

Sometimes I am sending out a signal to come look at this idiot.

Sometimes I am enlisting the aid of others who think like me.

Sometimes I think it is a question worth acknowledging.

Sometimes I star just because the person asking is my friend.

Sometimes I star a question that I have not answered because I am not the best one to answer it but I know others who are.

If I star a question it means I find it interesting. Notice I have not starred this question.
Who bothers reading Moleskis answers anyhow?

I don't always think to star just for the attention I will try this next time.

I usually star a question when I find it interesting or am curious about the possible responses. A star makes it easy to go back and check later. Sometimes I star questions I haven't even answered.

I’ve been known to star a question even when I didn’t answer. Sometimes, by the time I get around to reading a question, there are already plenty of good answers and I don’t have anything to add, but I think it was a good question.

I sort of have a unique set of reasons to star a question.

1) To let me know where the page has gone since I last saw it. Sometimes it's difficult to find how many questions went by since last I looked.

2) To Bless those that curse me. In those cases I am sending a sort of blessing to them like Jesus said, " Bless those who curse you."

3) To tell them it's a good question.

I know what the reason given by Yahoo!Answers says. I don't have to apply everything they say. I have my own reasons and I like to think for myself. Contrary to what Atheists want to believe.

EDIT: OH yeah!
4) And to draw attention to my answer. Because I think that I give good answers . . . . most of the time!

No. I star questions for a wide variety of reasons.

Sometimes I star questions that I don't even answer - to remember to come back to read the responses, to make it easy for people on my contacts list to find those questions, to go back and look something up that was referenced in the question, etc.
