I have accepted Christ into my life and do not regret it one bit! I do admire you for posting this; it took God's strength to do this, I am sure. It has sadden me, to no ends; of the negative response you have received. I am so sorry that we live in such a corrupted society; today. Please do not let this hinder you from witnessing to others about God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit! God bless you always.

I became an adopted son of the Father through baptism. I became a soldier for The Church when I was confirmed. The language you use - "Accept Christ as your personal Savior" - is a modern sort of Christianity that would not even be understood by the first Christians. (Don't get me wrong: It's nice, but a bit simplistic.) Baptism replaced circumcision as the sign of entrance into the covenant of God's family. Through Baptism, I entered the New Covenant and the stain of original sin was washed away. Christ is my Lord and my God .
I believe in One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church: I look for the resurection of the dead, and the life of the world to come.

I'm sorry for some of the rude answers you
received in response to your question.
Your motive deserves better.
That said, it's time to move on. The day of
Billy Graham is over. But the day of Jesus
Christ has just begun.
Jesus was a beacon in a sea of religious
fanatics. Unfortunately, much of what he taught
was mis-interpreted.
Today, the truth behind creation, and the
importance of the human species is popping
up, world round. Also, we have one great
advantage in this promised land we call
America.
We can't be hung out to dry on a cross, for
being of rational thought.

I haven't and won't. He was a spiritual teacher and personally that is not the same as a savior. Might be very spiritual but that's it. Plus why would I do that when I think christianity, as it is today, is terrible?

JESUS prayed for RESCUE (see Matthew 26:37-39) and Luke 22:40 4 and so on.. If this replaced into Gods Plan for a vicarious atonement to redeem mankind, then needless to say He had chosen a incorrect replace. This candidate replaced into maximum reluctant to die. Aiming, Wailing, Sweating, Crying, Complaining! have not you examine in bible "ELI, ELI, LAMA SABACHTHANI"? WHY HAST THOU FORESAKEN ME!!!! why replaced into no longer his reaction like this "THANK GOD, I easily have achieved MY accountability!" ---------------------------------------... TEMPTATION by potential of devil: enable's get some data quickly from the Bible: a million- it extremely is a actuality that the Bible claims that devil led Jesus and tempted him (Mark a million:12-13, Luke 4:a million-2, Luke 4:5-6 ): 2- it extremely is a actuality that the Bible claims that devil dragged and led Jesus by means of this temptation for 40 days and 40 nights. It have been given so ridiculous that devil even had Jesus STAND on appropriate of the temple ( Matthew 4:5-10, Luke 4:10-12, it replaced into as huge as a fort; see the Jewish wailing wall of in the present day and how huge it extremely is), and dangle from it pushing him and tempting him to leap and devote suicide: 3- it extremely is a actuality that the Bible prohibits coveting (Romans 7:7-8, 13:9, Micah 2:a million-2, Exodus 20:17, Deuteronomy 5:21, Acts 20:32-35 ). yet, Jesus being heavily tempted for 40 days and 40 nights needless to say coveted.

I believe Jesus was a real person... I do not believe he's my personal savior. However, if he's your savior, and that makes you feel spiritually fulfilled, I'm very happy for you.
I appreciate what you're trying to do because I think you're truly trying to help people... however, I'm very happy with the path I've chose to follow. Thank you though.

Have you yet accepted the teachings of Lao Tzu or the awakened Buddha? If not I suggest that you do. Get out of your bondage of ignorance and do something good for yourself and the world.
I'm here if I can help.

Make me convert, Christian.
I hear that your God gave us free will, doesn't God want us to believe what we want? God should respect my personal opinion and views on religion.
I am a self declared Satanist. I worship myself, I use my bad karma and intellegence to my advantage to benifit myself.
I believe in no afterlife, I believe in a creator but not afterlife.
