i started weight watchers in january and i lost 15 pounds. it is now month 8 and for the past 4 months, i have been the same weight? why is that? i am obviously not a plateau, because a plateau is only 2 weeks, not 4 months. I still want to lose maybe 5-10 more pounds. However, for some reason, I'm not dropping anymore weight. Why is this?

Look at your O Pt's. foods maybe you are over doing something, also check your meals, maybe you're eating too much meat or too much bread, I was stuck in weight for some weeks and then occur to me change my menu, I start eating more fish, tuna, shrimp, etc. and change those everyday foods like bread for tortilla, etc. I just had to change the meals that I usually use most in my daily menu and substitute for new food.

Hope this help.

Let me answer your question with a set of questions.

Are you doing cardiovascular exercises? If not, start doing some cardio, at least 1/2 a day, 4 days a week. Or do heavy walking.

What times of the day are you eating? Try to do the bulk of your eating during the earlier parts of the day, and eat smaller portions during the eveing. Each night when you go to bed, you'll want to feel like your stomach is going towards empty, without feeling intense hunger.

Are you eating negative calorie foods like celery? Also, I drink green tea. There are ongoing debates as to whether it aids in weight loss, but I've noticed an increased rate of weight loss myself since I started drinking it a month ago.

When I only want to lose 5 or 10 pounds, I can usually
drop the weight by eating Watermelon for a couple of weeks.
Just Watermelon, nothing else. But I don't recommend this
over a long period, but cause one of my doctors said it could
raise my triglycerides too much.

Are you getting enough rest, drinking enough water, eating small meals six times a day? If not, then use what I use and the weight not only comes off, it stays off for good. I don't have to diet or exercise 'cause I don't have time. I'm busy. I used what the skinny people use, the "Patch" . Go to this website to get it:

You can lose weight by dieting yes, but you also need to work out and be active you can't just depend on cutting back calories, fat, carbs, etc.
Good Luck.
