Okay so I have some medical bills on my credit that are outstanding. I no longer get bills from these companies so have no way of contacting them to pay them. What can I do about that? They are from 2000 and 2002, will they come off my credit after so many years? I also had a credit card when I was younger that was sent to collections, I paid the amount that the company required but it is still on my credit. Help, I am 26 now and would like to get my credit back on track??

If the bills are less the $100 they do not show up, next if paying old bills they will show up as paid but remain on your report for 7 years from the last transaction unless you get in writing that if paid will be removed from your rating

Hi! Make another attempt to pay old bills off! I had my own business a few years ago, and when i was a teenager i purchased a watch from a famous store that went bankrupt. The bill for $12 was ruining my credit! So try again! Good Luck!!

Contact these people to make the final payments. Once that is done, ask them to remove your name from their bad debt list. You will need to begin by making some small purchases and paying them off in order to rebuild your credit. Gradually make the purchases larger and make regualr payments. Your bad credit will remain on record for anywhere from 3 - 7 years.

They stay on your credit for at least 7 years. It would not make much of a difference if you started paying on them now unless you can pay off a huge chunk of it. So just don't do anything that will hamper your credit now. Make sure you pay everything on time, and don't have any delinquencies.

Get the address of the companies from the old bill and pay them off. Also pay all bills in time. From http://www.acreditlibrary.com/buildcredit.html

I used the kit from the source site and did most of it myself for cheap.
