Me too - in Sydney bout 25 years ago - he (she?) was on a date with a friend of mine (m).
I'd been warned but it still took a while beofre I could see it.

I'm sure that everyone on Yahoo! Answers knows that they don't know that they know that what they didn't know was that they knew that they were ignorant of the fact that, although completely aware of it, they never realized and never suspected that whom they firmly believed and STILL firmly believe to be a woman was and is in fact a man, so the answer for everybody, female and NON-female, is that yes, they know that they didn't know.
