Family member is allergic to dog?

Question

We just got a pomeranian (about 2 weeks ago) and it turns out the family member who stays home all day and exposed to the dog the most is allergic. She has developed itching all over her body with watery eyes. We did have another dog that was similar in hair texture about 4 years ago. Is it actually possible to not be allergic and then suddenly be? We've checked her for fleas already.

I'm allergic to dogs. and iw as allergic to cats. But now im not for some reason. Pomeranians especially kicked up my allergies... cute dogs. TERRIBLE for allergy sufferers.
but the person who is allergic, could become ammune to it

been there done that yes it is possible to become allergic to anything at any time of life my solution get allergenic spray sold at stores in the pet isle get a baby gate that expands and keep the dog isolated to one room in the house oh and an air purifier really helps also keep the dog shampooed 2 times a week with a danger control shampoo good luck

give the dog a bath

any products been used on the dog -that may allergic too- remember the brady bunch episode "were jan was allergic to tiger"

have family member check with Dr - there are meds for allerigies

Trade her in on a standard or miniature poodle. Their coats are not the same as most canines, and won't cause allergic reactions in most humans.

well,yes its possible,as u grow older the geans in ure body change gradually,giving u allergies to new things or other things that effect your body.

yup..it is possible...especialy to those who...u know..who are not so young...coz immune systems wares off if your aging...
