Oh, so many smart people out there. I heard for many months that the season would start early and be the worst ever....hmmm. Just like last year. Maybe it's the media?

I do not want any hurricanes, just heard the worst and wondered.

No, I do not have to be blown away to believe in GW. It is a farce and a natural occurance. The media and fear mongers have their own agenda. Greed.

I believe strongly in global warming. But I do not believe all of the hurricanes were caused by global warming. Hurricanes would occur either way.

If we get the worse hurricane in history no matter what country then would you believe global warming is real ? Or are you going to have to be blown away ?

Ignoring for the moment the fact that the hurricane season has not started yet, and that scientists are still debating what affect climate change will have on hurricane activity, this argument doesn't really tell us anything. Given that the climate is changing (a simple observational fact), and that such a change will affect hurricane activity, it will affect hurricane activity whether the climate is changing because of us or not. All we can really conclude from this is that global warming may or may not affect hurricanes, which we already knew.

For starters, we're at the beginning of the hurricane season. On top of that, scientists have concluded that global warming probably doesn't affect the frequency of hurricanes. It will probably make hurricanes stronger, but not cause more of them to form.
