Neither. What makes you think you have to be 'christian' to pray or go to church? There are many kinds of prayer and many kinds of churches. The question you ask is...do I believe in the existence of some sort of Entity above and beyond my ability to understand or prove scientifically is there? If you answer 'yes', then you are NOT agnostic or atheistic, but you are not necessarily Christian either.

Are you asking to be judgmental or what?
Anyway sounds more Christian that agnostic.
"Sort of believe" really isn't a part of my vocabulary and I am agnostic. As an agnostic I simply say "I don't know"
In my humble opinion most Christians "kinda believe"
I don't mean that in an offensive way its just there's no way anyone can 100% believe. Now whether they admit to having doubts is another story.

If you believe in a god then you are not agnostic. Agnostics are atheists who qualify their non-belief in gods by saying that it is impossible to know if gods exist or not. They still do not believe in gods and are thus atheists. The term "agnostic" was coined in the 19th century by Thomas Huxley, a champion of Darwin's ideas (often called Darwin's Bulldog) .

The question is if they believe in Jesus being the son of God. If they believe that, then they are Christian if they don't, then they are probably agnostic.

To be agnostic would be to doubt any higher power but not convinced it does not exist. Not going to church or reading the bible is not really the issue. I think when in your darkest moments or brightest moment do you thank or curse the universe?
