I believe it was a dispute they had on whether to take along John Mark with them. Paul did not want to take him because he abandoned them on one of the mission journeys before and Barnabas wanted to take him along. Paul and Barnabas later reconciled and also Paul and John Mark. God bless.

I think it was a difference of philosophy.
Paul believed the most important thing in the world was to fulfill his call and ministry before God, and was unwilling to compromise by taking along someone who "bailed out" on him during his first missionary journey (John Mark).
Barnabas, whose name means "Son of Consolation" strikes me as being much more of a "people person", and felt Paul should have given his cousin John Mark a second chance.
So who was right and who was wrong?
I don't know that there is a correct answer to that.
I think both were doing what they felt was right in the eyes of God.
I do note that Paul was reconciled to John Mark, as he makes mention of him in what scholars believe to be his last Epistle (Letter), writing:
"Get Mark and bring him with you, because he is helpful to me in my ministry." II Timothy 4:11
Also, after the disagreement, nothing more is heard of from the Barnabas in Scripture.

No, no, no. It was because Paul was getting too needy, and Barnabus suspected that Paul was having an affair with another man.

It had to do with how Barnabus wanted to decorate the kitchen, I think.

Because they couldn't agree on who to take with them on their mission.
