You know - show those old fashioned qualities and values like respect, morals, empathy, kindness, caring, protective nature....and the most important one - not trying to jump you.....and rest of the list that could go on & on!
What i am, basically, asking, is if a bloke doesn't want a serious something with a girl will he show these qualities the majority of the time?

Of course. If the goal is to be in a serious long relationship with you, he will do everything possible to keep you happy and show you his best sides, and his heart. What i've learned is that if you settle for less, that's exactly what you are going to get. You have to set standards for yourself and your life and stick to it. Don't leave it to the guy to decide how he wants to act with you. You can quickly weed out the losers by not putting up with the bull**** and moving on as soon as a quality comes up that you don't agree with and he won't change. Too many times girls wait or hope that a man will change for you and eventually give that commitment or level of serious that you want. But look at it this way, there's a man out there willing to love you the way you deserve FROM THE BEGINNING.
You can always tell how a relationship is going to go based on the level of respect, attention and kindness that a man shows.

Yes, a man will show those qualities the majority of the time no matter how well he tries to hide them. Its just a matter of the woman being smart and attentive enough to pick up on these negative characteristics. You can't really knock a man for trying. But if a women is clear about her limits with him, then he will respect her boundaries. He will do this in a number of ways:
He will either realize that these are qualities he likes in a woman and pursue her on those terms
Try and conquor her OR
Figure its a waste of time and move to something easier.
....Thats why its important for a woman not to waivor her values.

well a real gentleman will always people with respect. So if this person is not looking for something seriously than i would think he would still treat you the same i would hope. If he starts to change than that should tell you that he was just putting on a show. Most guys will do that, thats why is really important to have a good strong base friendship first to reallyget to know the person than move forward.

In my experience its the women who dictate the pace of the relationship and the outcome. If you hold back on the jiggy and keep yourself busy and not always available to him, they tend to be more into you. I suppose if you act like you are something worth having or something worth striving for, they feel it too. A lot of blokes will try it on on the first date but if you knock them back and make it clear it wont be for a long time, they either disappear because they don't want a relationship or they get more involved. Guys will take it if its on offer but they might not like it when they get it!

He would not show these traits at the very beginning because he wants half the cow not the whole cow. Learn to read the signs on how his behavior is when he with you. Men can be just as charming as females only to get what they want then there gone.

some men will, and some wont. but for the most part, some men will fake, and say whatever to get some and realy could care less about anything else. But a man that doesn't want just sex, he wont even bring it up. Believe me, you can tell the difference.

He won't know if he wants something serious with you until he gets to know you. The only way you're going to get that from him, is if he knows thats what you expect of him.
