Why think so small?
There is more money to be made from the fortune of others, than the misfortune.
"misfortune" also implies "Unfortunate" "Less" "Dead End" "Nothing"
"Fortune" also implies "Fortunate" " More" "Opportunity" "Unlimited"
So...logic would dictate that creating more fortune, or fortunistic situations for others, then exponentially increases your own.
You can only squeeze so much juice out of a lemon peel. But if you plant a lemon orchard....

That's a pretty messed up way to desire to make a living.
Why would you want to do that?
Maybe it's a type-o. Maybe you meant to say "How might I earn money making the world a better place?"

Here is one way I found that you can make thousands of dollars off of other people's debts. You can buy debt for pennies on the dollar,have it collected --and then Pocket the Profit!
