This is a fair question to ask. Golf teaches many different themes on life yet the one I always go by on and off the course is ( Every shot makes somebody happy so play the game for yourself and enjoy each swing). It's not much but does apply to all situations in life.

The easiest way to learn golf like a pro is by following "The Simple Golf Swing" program. It's primarily a 31 page eBook that teaches golfers how to make solid contact with the ball, how to avoid hitting fat, how to avoid slicing, how get more power, accuracy, and consistency in your swing. Consistency being the number 1 golf skill.
You not only get the eBook though, you also receive a ton of extra material including video, lessons on putting, driving, chipping, sand play etc. Here is their official site: http://www.golfswingguru.net

Here is a golf school that has lots of great info about the golf industry. There are many articles listed on the site that have insight to teaching golf - or having any type of career in golf, really.

Hope you find some good information on what life lessons golf can teach you.

Besides stuffs like patience, discipline, focus, honesty, creative & analytical thinking skills, golf is also a good reflection of a relationship.
Example, when there's a hazard 200y away and I knew I must play safe and layup but I chose to go for it with my FW and I ended up in the hazard. In a relationship/marriage, having flings or an ONS is definitely a hazard/OB but one still goes for it thinking that they be lucky enough not to be caught.
Another example... I am feeling under intense stress while addressing the ball on a tee box and pressure on my grip increased. There it goes, bad swing... a super big slice, etc. In a relationship, if we exert too much pressure on our partner and not allowing him/her personal space, they will just go bonkers like the golf ball...

Persistance. If you try hard and fail even the failure is relative. If you are one of those that seem to have an easy time of it today it may be a strugle tomorrow.
If you hit a great shot and it hits a sprinkler head and ends up in the woods the next hole you may hook into a tree that bounces the ball on the green to set up a birdy.
Only the persistant gain the rewards

Well, the thing I've learned from golf is, be easy on things. Here's an example. If you put too much strength into your swing, you're going to overshoot and mess up (probably end up topping the ball). Same for many non-golf related things. If you put too much power into something, you're gonna mess up.

honesty, integrity, willingness to help others (like when searching for a lost ball). Also it keeps you in good condition (if you walk), gets you outside where it is beautiful.

good ones have already been taken....
how about "accountability"?
Unlike the other sports I play/used to play like baseball or basketball, you can't blame teammates when things go bad.
.....just ask Rory.
