It actually depends upon your own body because someone who is 250 pounds will sober up and will be able to drink more that someone who weighs only 130lbs and has little fat. But on average, maybe 1 hour if its light like a beer or a glass of wine...but as you drinnk more, the time needed to sober up increases immensely...
Personally, I think that if you're gonna drink, don;t drive at all...

For a 150 lb male, it takes 1.5 hours to get rid of each drink from your bloodstream. A drink is 12 oz. of beer, which is normally 5% alcohol. So for a pint of 40%, it's going to be half a day or so.

One hour for each drink (can/bottle of beer, glass of wine, or a shot) for your body to completely process the alcohol. People get in trouble when they are drinking 3 or 4 beers an hour for the duration of an evening out.
I am not saying one bottle of beer will get you to the legal driving limit, the one hour is just so your body can completely process the alcohol.

I'd say w/n a 12 or 18-hr period. Certain ramifications include height, w8, age, type of beverage, how much is consumed, & whether u 8 anything w/ you're drink. But in all common sense, if you're gonna drink, have someone else drive 4 u afterwards.

depends on your body weight. Some people can have 1 and be legally drunk others 2 or 3 before they test drunk.I suggest never drinking and driving because even one could be too much if you have an accident.

It depends on the person and their weight and if they had anything to eat as well. Several hours would be a good idea if you are just talking about ONE drink.

You should be more responsible in drinking especially you drive yourself home... not to drink much to make you least tipsy and not prone to accident... but the best is, don't drink if you drive!

depends entirely on how much you have drank and your body weight and was it on an empty stomach -- best answer is look for a non drinking driver no matter how much - how long = whatever.
