I follow a pretty healthy diet and exercise every day. I eat lasagna often and have not gained weight. Is it ok if I keep eating it or should I cut it out of my meal plan?

*I'm not trying to loose weight just staying healthy

Yes, it is. It has meat, carbs, veggies, and if u drink a glass of milk every now-and-then, it is perfectly healthy! Just mantain your work-out to just what u need. The lasagna is perfectly fine!

Maybe try a low fat lasagna, all that fat and starch is not good for you even if you aren't gaining weight from eating it.

You can have anything in moderation! You could try substituting ground turkey and cheese from skim milk. Fat-free cheese doesn’t work- it doesn’t melt well. You’d cut calories and fat grams and you might like it with the substitutions. If it tastes too different, stick with the original and just don’t overdo it.

It depends on how the recipe for lasagna is made. Some are really fattening, others not. I take it yours is nonfattening

Well, I think it would be ok to eat it, but not every day....I'd say...1 a week would be ok..I dont eat it that often so my advice may not be correct or the right choice

How often is often? I'd say more than once a month is a lot. You don't have to cut it out but you can replace the ricotta cheese with blended cottage cheese and replace the meat with zucchini.

If you are worried make or buy a low fat option- there are loads around! To make one, buy lean mince, drain all fat before you add tomotoes, Use low fat cheese, skimmed milk and cornflour to make white sauce and just put a small amount of low fat cheese on top- Easy!!

If it is not affecting your weight either way, then keep eating it if you enjoy it.
