You might try painting your walls a lighter shade of the light pink on the spread....maybe 2 or 3 shades lighter; always makes for a nice, airy feel to a room..then for any accessories you could use the burgundy that's in the spread...drapes could be close to wall color, which would really 'open up' the room.....or they could be a shade a little lighter than burgundy; in the same color family...if you want to get away from such a monochromatic color scheme, look on a color wheel to see which color is the opposite; or complementary, color, and that color could be used for accents/accessories...Can't think right now of the opposites!! but it'd give you some further ideas..you can see a color wheel at any paint store on online...I guess just google 'color wheel;, or go to a paint company website; they're sure to have one there!! have fun!!

I would paint the walls either that mauve pink painting all the wood trim in the room a white enamel. In the background of the comforter or that rasberry color I saw too which you could paint the walls. Then I would get throw pillows in dark purple, lavender, pink rasberry and white. Curtains to match if it comes with the set, otherwise you could use the matching sheets and just do a simple valance or swag on your window on a decorative rod. Pretty accessories and you are all set.

I'd pick out one of the darker color in the bedding and use that for a bit of drama on the wall behind the bed and paint remaining walls in a matching paler color from the bedding.Bedside lampshades in the paler color would then stand out against the dramatic deeper color, maybe even attach beaded droplets in dark purple. Indeed why not go the whole hog and edge the curtains with it too.Group a set of four framed prints above the bed and viola!

you should put a very light yellowish border that has flowers on it, right at the upper tip of the walls.
(to make it more interesting, get a border that doesn't have a straight bottom but more of a squiggled pattern on the bottom)
