It's common to give the Baptized a gift of some sort. It doesn't have to be anything fancy. After all, it will be quite a while before the infant will be able to appreciate the gifts he/she receives from the Baptism.
A store that sells religious goods is the sort of place you might want to check out for something like a Baptism gift for an infant. There are many good online stores that have their gifts arranged according to occasion; Baptism being one of them.
You might, for example, want to purchase a saints medal; perhaps one of the patron saint(s) of infants, or the patron(s) of Baptism.
There are many other religiosu gifs appropriate for Baptisms. You will find something.

It is common, although not absolutely required, to bring a gift for the baby. Ideally the gift is religious in nature. That said, the child will probably get many crosses. Is the child named after a Saint? Maybe you can find a medal of the Saint? Even though cash says "In God We Trust" on it, that does not exactly count as a religious gift.

Its not required but when I had my sons christened most everybody that showed up brought something. One got me a child's bible, another got me a child's rosary, and some family brought cash that I put in the kids savings account. But I did have some people that didn't bring anything. Which was fine by me. Because the important part was that they showed up.
