Oh yes, on many occasions. Sometimes when I'm reluctant to "go with the flow" I try to remind myself of what a fab time I've had when I've done spur of the moment things suggested by others, and how nervous I've been about trying out new things which have actually turned out to be great fun. I also like doing things for the future....nothing heavy, just stuff like making sloe gin, or drying flowers, stuff you can't particularly enjoy the fruits of straight away, but bring you joy later.
Mmmmm Blackberry pie. (no blackberries here, but lots of rasps! Might make freezer jam as a spur of the moment thing)

Yes, ran up and down the street, with nothing on, but a silk dreesing gown, flapping in the wind, at a new years party. It was freezing. Can i come to the party? i need no preparation, unless it's preparation H.
Edit - Why didn't you make Blackberry wine.
Do you live near Blackberry Way by any chance, I'll get a MOVE on
Edit - that sounds like my kind of party Blue.

I was just up on the Oregon coast last week, and I picked blackberries, too. There were only a few ripe ones, though -- not enough for a pie, but enough to share with my family.
There were also some wild raspberries, but I ended up half-falling into the brambles and scratching my legs up.
All that for a simple "walk up the road".

Make greater jam expensive one - I easily have human beings salivating as early as might for my residing house-made jam they get carry of at Christmas. Or cobbler, tart, pie, compote, soak in champagne, upload to breakfast cereal, combination with yogurt, cook dinner with beef or duck
