What does it mean when a guy lays his head on your chest?

A good male friend of mine accidentally locked himself out of his house, and when he realized his mistake he lay his head somewhere between my shoulder and breasts...somewhere around the collarbone area.

What could this gesture possibly mean?

he did it again two times after that, too....Was it still just a ''friendly touch''...
Or did it go over the friendship boundary?

I would take it as going a bit over friendship. He may be starting to like you more than just a friend. The first time it could have been a simple thing like poor me, I'm locked out. But the 2 more times. Say way more.

If he starts moving lower or his hands start to wander, then he's crossing the line. But what you described was just deep friends.
